What is Shushgame?

The Quiet Game. A Discord server that is itself the game: every day, one word becomes forbidden. Say it — or anything containing it — and you die. Silence is golden.

Lives at shushgame.com. Free to play. The dying is always free.

  1. You talk in #shushchat. Every word is counted.
  2. At midnight UTC, the machine studies yesterday’s ten most-used words and bans one at random. The decree lands in #daily-decree; the full list of banned words lives in #kill-list.
  3. The banned list only grows. Every day of the round is deadlier than the last.
  4. Type a banned word — even buried inside another word — and you die. Silently. Immediately.

A round is one calendar month (all times UTC):

DaysPhase
1–3Grace period — words are counted, nobody dies
4–14The Quiet Game proper — daily decrees, daily deaths
15–21🧟 Zombie Apocalypse — the dead rise (details)
22–endEndgame — the apocalypse closes; the living play out the month under a long, fat kill-list

At round’s end: awards, every mute lifted, the kill-list resets, and it all begins again.

shushgame.com shows the live decree board, the kill list, the countdown to the next decree — and turns zombie-green automatically while an Apocalypse is active.
